The Haemophilia Foundation of New Zealand (HFNZ) is a registered charity that provides support, education and information for people with haemophilia, von Willebrands Disorder and related bleeding disorders and their families/whanau. They provide advocacy and representation at government levels and to health service providers and are part of the global haemophilia community.
In addition to outreach workers who are based in four regions of New Zealand, there are also two national groups, Piritoto and the National Youth Committee. HFNZ is governed by a national council which is made up of elected volunteers.
HFNZ felt their current website, which was about six years old, was dated and in need of a revamp. They wanted more graphics used (with less text) in their new website. There were also issues with functionality, flexibility and navigation, though the site was information-rich.
Our Solution: Expert built a new website in MoST and worked with the existing branding collateral as a full rebrand was not planned for the immediate future. MoST provides a high degree of flexibility and functionality, and coupled with Expert’s design flair, a new site was created which was fresh and vibrant.
Expert’s Added Value: Provided a website that is easy to edit and update by staff and volunteers, without the need for them having specialised IT skills.
